"There is a quality of life that God is always seeking to lead us into. As our God, He watches over us with care and love. However, He is often unable to help us because we have failed to keep our communication channels open through sin and selfishness. We should not blame Him for events that occur which we do not understand or cannot explain. If we walk close to God, we will know enough so that we can always trust Him whatever happens. If our communication to God seems blocked, guess who has blocked it?
We need to realise that when we have our life from God, we should no longer live for ourselves, but rather for Jesus who loves us and gave Himself for us. This is a life surrendered to God and lived day by day trusting in Him. When we do this, God will lead us into the quality of life we desire, but perhaps not with the rapidity that we expect. It takes time for God to deal with the little details of our life as we lay it down for Him. So let us patiently, humbly and obediently commit our lives to God for His direction in all circumstances and let Him bless us how He sees appropriate. Know that He will never short change us!"
