What an inspiration the post entry titled "Making a Difference in Your Life" on Joan's Blog is to me...what a critical lesson it offers above its thought-provoking message. Yes, how many times we learn that the battlefield really is in the mind first and that we choose our responses to our circumstances (something about a 10-90 or was it the 20-80 because there's one of those too...rule about the percentage of time that things are thrown at us versus things created by our reaction), and yet we do not apply this knowledge **and all guilty, please raise your hands** - I am the biggest culprit!
With this whole thing on finding satisfaction in God, I reckon He's trying to help me in this area by placing a couple of people here and there around me who hardly ever say 'thank you' to teach me to not desire the praise, acceptance and recognition of people to build up my self-esteem but to find security and satisfaction in doing what is good in God's eyes first and foremost. He's very gentle and subtle with His lessons, probably as He realises how fragile my ego is...ahahahaha...
