Please pray for my mum

She's in East Timor again. She and a small team of women from her prayer group are on their second visit. The objective of the first trip was to pray that God would release a piece of land the church there wanted to purchase. The seller was trying to pull the wool over their eyes and do a shifty. They had prayed over which plot to buy and believed this to be it. My mum and her team stayed there for a number of days just praying over the land and for the church. Now the land belongs to the church so this second trip is to pray for cleansing over the land before construction commences. if you know E.Timor, you'll know how defiled the land really is. The people are entrenched in all sorts of terrible spiritual strongholds. The last team that went to did not have sufficient prayer covering themselves and eventually each one came down with some form of disease, malaria included.

My mum and her team will be doing prayer walks around the land every day to pray for God's protection and favour as the church proceeds with building and standing firm as salt and light in that community. The temperature there has been about 46 degrees and there is no electricity in most areas. Where the team will be, they will have little electricity (none after midnight), absolutely no fans or reprieve from the heat and humidity. I'm not certain about the water supply and other amenities. I've been continually praying for journey mercies and for God to be with them where ever they go so they won't encounter any form of opposition or come to any harm. For God's presence to be so strong in that place that they will not fear anything but boldly proclaim His sovereignty over the people in Timor. For wisdom on how to pray for the land and people specifically. The residents need God. People are suffering there. Wickedness has been prevailing. Their land lacks proper resources to feed its own people well. I know the Enemy will be be warring against the church, and every missions team that steps foot there, with guns blazing full steam ahead. But God has given us authority over the devil himself and all evil principalities.
